Hello genealogists!.

August 28, 2012

Welcome to our Keya Paha (pronounced: kee-op-a-hah) NE marriage site.  We are adding this site because the State Genealogy site has no printed publications for this county.  So since we have some of the marriage records here in Omaha at the W. Dale Clark Library on film, we’re in the process of making more records available, so that we can all find more ancestors.  We have finished indexing the available marriages on film for Keya Paha count, NE.  There’s lots of people here from other counties, even from SD & IA.

The film was a memorial to Hal Hallgrimson, from his family.

If you find a record you want a copy of:

1.  Greater Omaha Genealogical Society will get copies for you for $5.00 per copy.  Send your request & a check for each item you want to G.O.G.S. PO box 4011 Omaha, NE 68104.    (You can combine with items from our other web sites as well.)  The item will be mailed to you, unless email is requested.

-or-

2.  The Gen Lady team of Karen & Terry (send an email to: TheGenLady@Gmail.com) will get copies for $5.00 each copy, and we’ll let you know where to mail the check.  Any number of copies can be requested.  While we don’t work on weekends, your request is normaly filled and emailed to you within 24 hours.

-or-

3. W. Clark Library will do indexed copies for $5 each, three maximum per week.  Their address is: 215 S 15th St., Omaha, NE 68102.

Look for our other marriage sites as well.  Not everybody stayed in their home county when they got married.  Happy ancestor hunting!
